BUON VIAGGIO RICHARD!

Mio fratello Richard ci ha lasciati il 9 Marzo. Aveva 40 anni. Era da un paio di anni che la sua salute stava degradando. Purtroppo il suo fegato non funzionava piu’ bene e speravamo tutti in un trapianto. Quando mio mamma mi ha detto che era ricoverato all’ospedale per l’ennesima volta ho deciso che questa volta volevo andare a trovarlo per dargli forza e coraggio.

My brother Richard passed away on the 9th of March. He was 40 years old. His health was degrading since about 2 years. Unluckily his liver was not working properly and we were hoping in a transplant. When my mum told me he was being admitted at the hospital for the umpteenth time I decided I had to go and visit him to give him some strength and courage.

Sono arrivata nel pomeriggio del 6 e ho parlato tanto con Richard. Gli ho fatto vedere le foto  dei miei ultimi dipinti a olio, lo zaino che avevo portato per suo figlio Elia (che mi aveva chiesto in anticipo per il suo compleanno), il mio nuovo passaporto Britannico. Faceva fatica a parlare. …e io cercavo di fargli forza e dirgli che sarebbe andato tutto bene.

I arrived in the afternoon of the 6th and that day I talked a lot with Richard. I showed him the pictures of my latest oil paintings, the backpack that I brought for his son Elia (who asked me an early birthday present), my new British passport. He was struggling to talk …and I was trying to give him strength and told him that everything would have been alright.

Dalla mattina dopo pero’ Richard non mi ha piu’ parlato. Era entrato in una specie di coma, e non si e’ piu’ svegliato. Quando i dottori ci hanno detto che non c’era piu’ niente da fare e’ stata dura. Per due giorni io e mia mamma non ci siamo piu’ allontanate da lui. Anche gli altri mie due fratelli (Chiara e Andrea) hanno fatto mille viaggi avanti e indietro tra famiglia, lavoro e ospedale. Io gli ho parlato tanto. Gli ho detto che lo stavano aspettando dall’altra parte. C’era una bella festa pronta per lui e doveva sbrigarsi ad andare, se non voleva fare tardi. Sono “contenta” di poter essere stata accanto a lui fino alla fine.

Since the following morning Richard didn’t talk any more. He was in a kind of a come, and he didn’t wake up anymore. It was tough when doctors told us there was anything more they could do. For two days my mum and I didn’t walk away from him. My other two siblings (Chiara and Andrea) made thousands of trips back and forwards between their families, work and hospital. I talked to him a lot. I told him there were many people waiting for him on the other side. There was a beautiful party prepared for him and that he had to decided and go, if he didn’t want to be late. I am “happy” to have been able to be at his side until the end.

Cercavo di convincerlo ad andarsene, e alla fine e’ partito. E’ partito per il suo nuovo viaggio e avventura. Lui era il piu’ giovane del gruppo, ma ha deciso che doveva andarsene prima di tutti. …voleva sempre essere il primo della fila/gruppo!

Richard era stato adottato. Era nato in Cile, e divenne parte della nostra famiglia quando aveva 6 anni. Eravamo gia’ in tre: io, mia sorella Chiara e mio fratello Andrea. Richard si e’ subito integrato e siamo diventati una bella squadra! Era un bambino molto vivace e curioso di tutto. …un terremoto!! E anche un bel testardo!! 🙂 Era arrivato malato (una malattia del sangue). Dopo alcuni anni, dopo un grande intervento in cui gli fu tolta la milza, era riuscito a guarire ed avere una vita normale, fino a qualche anno fa.

I was trying to make him decide it was time to go, and in the end he left. He left for his new trip and adventure. He was the youngest of our group, but he decided he wanted to leave for first. …he always wanted to be the first in a queue/group!

Richard was adopted. He was born in Chile and became part of our family when he was 6 years old. There were already three of us: me, my sister Chiara and my brother Andrea. Richard integrated straight away after arriving and we became a really good team! He was a really energetic little boy and curious of everything. …a tornado!! And also really stubborn!! 🙂 He arrived ill (he had a blood illness). After a few years he had a big surgery where his spleen got removed, and after that he was able to heal and have a normal life, until a few years ago.

E’ stato un bel dono per la nostra famiglia. Un regalo grande. Ci ha insegnato tanto. Era un grande artista e aveva un animo molto sensibile. Forse una delle persone piu’ sensibili che io abbia mai conosciuto. Ha avuto anche momenti difficili. E’ stato un grande fratello. Io e lui abbiamo condiviso tante cose. Avevamo molti interessi in comune: l’arte, siamo andati insieme a fare Kung-fu, balli latino-americani, abbiamo fatto vari viaggi, eravamo animatori del centro estivo alla nostra parrocchia, organizzavamo  feste di compleanno per i bambini …e molte altre cose.

He has been a wonderful gift for our family. A big gift. He taught us a lot. He was a great artist and had a really sensible soul. Probably one of the most sensible persons I have ever met. He also had difficult moments. He has been a great brother. I shared many things with him. We had many common interests: art, we attended to Kung-Fu lessons and latin-american dances together, we went for a few trips, we were entertainers at the summer camp for the children of our parish, organised birthday parties for children …and much more.

Negli ultimi giorni della sua vita tantissimi amici si sono affacciati all’ospedale, tanto che le infermiere ormai non facevano piu’ caso all’ora del passo e lasciavano passare tutti. …grazie a tutti voi, amici di Richard. Siete stati di aiuto. Vedere quanto sia stato amato, e quanto ancora gli continuate a voler bene aiuta tanto e fa bene.

Gli amici di Richard hanno organizzato anche una raccolta di soldi che e’ stata devoluta a suo figlio, e organizzato eventi in sua memoria. Continuano a mandarmi messaggi con sorrisi o fotografie di Richard che trovano in casa. Mi hanno mandato messaggi il giorno del suo compleanno. Grazie!

In the last days of his life lots and lots of his friends came at the hospital to visit him. There were so many that the nurses gave up to make people respecting the visiting times and let everyone come at all times. …thank you so much Richard’s friends. You have been of big help. Seeing how much he has been loved, and how much you still love him really helps and makes me good.

Richard’s friends also organised a money collection and devolved the total amount to his son, and organised various events in his memory. They are still sending me messages with smiles and pictures of Richard that they found in their homes. They send me messages on his birthday day. Thank you!

Richard era una persona speciale. Sapeva sapersi far amare da tutti. E amava tutti, incondizionatamente. …grazie per il tempo che abbiamo passato insieme, e grazie per averci lasciato l’opera piu’ bella che tu abbia mai creato: tuo figlio Elia!

Richard was a special person. He knew how to make people love him. And he loved everyone, unconditionally. …thanks for the time spent together, and thank you for leaving us the most wonderful of your artpieces: your son Elia!

E non stupitevi se d’ora in poi noterete nuvole dalle forme o colori strani in cielo: quello e’ mio fratello all’opera!

Tracey e’ stata molto gentile, e mi ha spedito un sacco di cose!! Decorazioni per la casa, da cambiare a seconda delle stagioni, cioccolata da mangiare per San Valentino (e lo abbiamo fatto :-)!), una lettera piena di parole meravigliose e un’arancia proveniente dal suo albero …era veramente deliziosa!!

Tracey has been really kind and sent me a lot of nice things!! Decorations for the house to be changed at every change of season, some chocolate to eat on San Valentine Day (and we did it! :-)!), a letter full of wonderful words and an orange that grew up on her tree …it was delicious!!

Cristina e’ Italiana e ama dipingere con gli aquarelli. I suoi soggetti preferiti sono piante, foglie, ghiande, fiori, la natura! …ho preparato all’uncinetto alcune foglie e ghiande, che potra’ usare come decorazioni per la casa e come sottobicchieri/sottopiatti/ …quello che piu’ preferisce!

Cristina is Italian and she loves painting with watercolours. Her favourite subjects are plants, leaves, acorns, flowers, nature! …I crocheted for her some leaves and acorns, that she can use as decorations for her house and as coasters …or what she will prefer!

E’ sempre bello partecipare a questi scambi. Conoscere persone nuove. Ricevere e preparare qualcosa per qualcuno che non si conosce, ma a cui si vuol spedire un po’ di gioia. Grazie ancora Anne per l’organizzazione!!

I AM OFFICIALLY BRITISH!

Ce l’ho fatta!!! Mercoledi’ scorso sono stata alla Cerimonia Ufficiale per ricevere il Certificato di Cittadinanza Britannica. E’ stato molto bello ed emozionante!! Eravamo circa 30 persone, di 16 paesi diversi. Abbiamo dovuto recitare i giuramenti e poi ci hanno chiamati uno ad uno per consegnarci il Certificato! …alla fine della Cerimonia abbiamo anche cantato l’Inno Nazionale e fatto fotografie con i dignitari e la regina!! 🙂

I made it!!! Last Wednesday I attended to the Official Ceremony to receive my British Citizenship Citizenship. Everything was nice and touching!! There were about 30 persons, coming from 16 different countries. We had to repeat the Affirmation/Oath and Pledge and we were then called one by one to get given our Certificates! …at the end of the Ceremony we even sang the National Anthem and took pictures with the dignitaries and the Queen!! 🙂

Nel frattempo, pensate che sia stata senza fare niente?! …abbiamo rinfrescato la camera degli ospiti. L’abbiamo tutta rimbiancata e cambiato il pavimento, da moquette a laminato! …cosi’ e’ molto piu’ facile tenerla pulita e ordinata. Ci abbiamo lavorato per circa 2 settimane, piu’ che altro nei fine settimana e un po’ la sera dopo cena.

…ospiti, la camera e’ pronta, potete venire ora!! 😉

Do you think I was just relaxing and having a lazy life in the meanwhile, don’t you?! …we refreshed the guests bedroom. We painted it all and changed the flooring from carpet to laminate! …it is much easier to keep it clean and tidy now. We worked for about 2 weeks on it, predominantly during the weekends and a bit during the evenings after dinner.

…guests, the bedroom is ready, you are free to come now!! 😉

Per darci un po’ di energia ho fatto questa buonissima torta di mele, che una mia nuova conoscenza di Instagram (@cheerfulamazed) mi ha gentilmente fornito!! E’ venuta strepitosa e anche molto bella!! …penso che la rifaro’ molto presto!!

To give us some energy I baked this super delicious apples cake. A new Instagram acquaintance (@cheerfulamazed), really kindly passed me the recipe!! It is awesome and pretty, too!! …I think I am going to bake it again soon!!

I AM BRITISH!

E’ passato un bel po’ di tempo dall’ultimo mio post.

…ho avuto cosi’ tanto da fare, che non ho veramente avuto il tempo ne’ l’energia di scrivere. A parte il lavoro, che mi tiene sempre impegnata, ho deciso di prendere la cittadinanza Britannica. Ci e’ voluto un anno intero! Si’, perche’ prima ho dovuto ottenere la “Permanent Residency Card”, e aspettare 1 anno prima di poter richiedere la cittadinanza.

A lot of time passed since my last post.

…I have had so much to do, that I didn’t really have either the time or the energy to write. Excluding work, that always keeps me busy, I decided to obtain British Citizenship. It took me a full year! Yes, because I first had to apply for the “Permanent Residency Card”, and wait 1 year before applying for the Citizenship.

Durante questo anno ho studiato!! Ho dovuto fare un esame di lingua (che in realta’ mi e’ sembrato molto facile …lavorando il mio Inglese e’ migliorato molto – anche se ovviamente, non e’ perfetto), e poi uno di storia e cultura Britannica. Ho studiato molto per questo. Ho studiato il libro ufficiale, e fatto mille e mille volte i quiz contenuti nel libro e online, finche’ non sono riuscita a memorizzare il piu’ possibile. Il test in realta’ alla fine mi e’ sembrato facile (…ci ho messo 5 minuti per compilare 24 risposte!), ma solo perche’ avevo forse studiato troppo!! 🙂 Ma meglio troppo che troppo poco!!

During this year I studied!! I had to pass a language test (that was really easy for me …working here has helped my English to improve a lot – even thought it is not obviously perfect), and I then had to do another test of British History and Culture. I really study a lot for the latter. I studied on the official book and trained thousand and thousand of times the quizzes that were part of the book and online. I didn’t stop until I managed to memorize as much as I could. The test turned out to be simple for me (…it took me 5 minutes to fill 24 answers!), but only because I think I over-studied!! 🙂 But better more than less!!

Cosi’ circa 1 mese fa ho ricevuto l’approvazione!! Il 6 Febbraio dovro’ attendere alla Cerimonia Ufficiale che fara’ di me una Britannica!! …ora mi manca solo di imparare l’inno nazionale! ;-p

Ho invitato un po’ di amici e festeggiato ben due volte!!

…ma altri festeggiamenti mi aspettano presto!

About 1 month ago I received the approval!! On the 6th of February I will have to attend the Official Ceremony that will make me a British!! …now I only have to learn the National anthem! ;-p

I invited some friend and had already two parties!!

…some more parties are waiting for me soon!

Domani partiamo!!! Andremo in Germania e poi in Italia! Le nostre famiglie ci aspettano!! E noi non vediamo l’ora di vederli tutti!!

LOOKING BACK AT MY HOLIDAYS!

Maggio e Giugno sono stati due mesi di viaggi!! Entrambi pieni di cose belle da vedere e incontri con persone che significano molto per me.

May and June had been two months full of trip!! Both full of beautiful things to see and meeting with people who mean a lot to me.

Erano circa 10 anni che non tornavo in Austria. In Austria io ho un’altra grande famiglia!! Erano estranei per me, fino a 30 anni fa, quando tutto cambio’. Allora alcuni ex-deportati della mia citta’ di Prato decisero di creare un gemellaggio tra Prato e il paese di Ebensee in Austria, dove avevano trascorso diverso tempo prigionieri nel campo di concentramento.

It was about 10 years I didn’t go back to Austria. I have another big family in Austria!! They were strangers for me until 30 years ago, when everything changed. Some ex-deported (sorry, I am not sure this is the right word in English, but hopefully you will understand) from my city of Prato decided to create a twinning with the town of Ebensee in Austria, where they spent time as prisoners in the concentration camp.

Non potevano fare cosa migliore. Perche’ da quel momento si sono formate tante nuove bellissime amicizie …e nuove famiglie!! Io sono parte del gemellaggio da quando avevo 15 anni. Per me sono un’altra famiglia!! Dopo essermi finalmente sistemata in Inghilterra, era arrivato il momento di tornare a trovare la mia mamma e famiglia Austriaca, e tanti amici!!

They couldn’t think of a better thing. Since then new wonderful friendship were born …and new families!! I am part of the twinning since I was 15. To me they are my other family!! After finally settling down in England, it was time I went back to visit my Austrian mum and family, and a lot of friends!!

Sono stati giorni bellissimi e indimenticabili! Abbiamo incontrato tanti amici, e come sempre, sono stati tutti super accoglienti e gentili.

We had fantastic and unforgettable days! We met with lots of friends and, as usual, they all have been so super welcoming and kind.

Mi e’ davvero piaciuto andarci con Stefan! …era quasi come mostrargli la mia “seconda casa”!! Un’altra parte di me, che ancora non aveva visto, e che ha apprezzato tantissimo.

I really enjoyed visiting Austria with Stefan! …it was like showing him my “second home”!! Another part of myself, that he didn’t know yet, and he really appreciated it a lot.

Dopo un mese dal viaggio in Austria, sono partita per Prato (questa volta da sola), per visitare la mia mamma e famiglia.

E una volta arrivata ho subito ricevuto una sorpresa speciale: un concerto di famiglia, organizzato da mio nipote Lorenzo che voleva farmi ascoltare i pezzi di musica che stava preparando al pianoforte per il Conservatorio …al concerto si e’ poi unito anche il nipotino Matteo. Ha iniziato da poco a suonare la chitarra elettrica!! Grazie!! Bravissimi!!

After a month from the visit in Austria, I left for Prato (this time on my own), to visit my mum and family.

As soon as I arrived I received a special surprise: a family concert, organised by my nephew Lorenzo who wanted to make me listen to the new music pieces he was learning on the piano for the Conservatory School …my little nephew Matteo joined the concert, too. He started playing the electric guitar not long ago!! Thank you!! Bravissimi!!

Io e mia mamma siamo state un po’ in giro, visitando posti intorno a Prato e prendendoci qualche momento per sentirci “in vacanza”. …perche’ in fondo queste sono state le MIE vacanze! Anche se quando stavo per ripartire tanti amici mi hanno chiesto: “…e dove andrai poi in vacanza?”. …perche’ per molti italiani le vere vacanze sono quelle fatte in estate, a Luglio o Agosto, magari al mare …quando tutta l’Italia si appisola e riposa per scappare al caldo infernale.

My mum and I went visiting places around Prato and we took some moments to feel “on holiday”. …because in the end these were MY holidays! Even though when it was time for me to go back to England, many friends asked me: “…and where are you going to go on holiday?”. …because for many Italians the real holidays are the ones that you spend in summer, in July or August, probably at the seaside …when all Italy falls asleep and relaxes to escape from the roasting hot weather.

Siamo state anche al mare, a Castiglioncello. Dove i miei nonni usavano passare le loro vacanze. E’ stata una bella giornata. E’ stato bello poter tuffarmi di nuovo nel mare caldo italiano e guardare tutte le varie forme di vita che mi passavano davanti agli occhi.

We went to the seaside too, to Castiglioncello. Where my grandparents used to spend their holidays. That was a wonderful day. It was fantastic to be able to dive again in the warm Italian sea and watch all the different life forms that were passing in front of my eyes.

Per completare la giornata in bellezza e tornare alle memorie del passato ci siamo anche mangiate una mega-coppa di gelato con la frutta fresca!!

To end the day well and go back once again to our memories of the past, we even ate a mega-cupa of ice-cream with fresh fruit!!

Ora sono qua in Inghilterra, di nuovo al lavoro, di nuovo al solito tran-tran quotidiano. Ma mi fa bene ricordare tutti questi bei momenti passati con le persone a cui tengo di piu’.

…mi fa sopportare meglio il fatto che sia Agosto e io non sia in vacanza come tanti italiani!! 😉

I am back in England now, back to work, back to the same daily routine. But it makes me feel good to recall all these beautiful moments spent with the people I care the most.
…it helps me coping with the fact that it is now August and I am not on holiday like many Italians!! 😉

I AM COMING, ITALY!

La valigia è pronta. …quasi vuota, perché non mi serve molto quando viaggio e comunque sará una visita breve. Lascio Stefan in Inghilterra, ad accudire le piante (😀) e parto tra pochi minuti!! …ho voglia di sole, caldo, famiglia!!

The suitcase is ready …nearly empty because I never need much when I travel and it will be a sort visut, anyway. I am leaving Stefan in England, to look after the plants (😀) and I am going to leave in a few minutes!! …I need sun, hot weather, family!!

BANK HOLIDAY GARDENING

I giorni successivi alla gita a Londra ci siamo dedicati al giardinaggio! Non potete nemmeno immaginare quanti piccoli vasetti Stefan fosse riuscito a seminare ovunque in casa!! Io li ho trovati in tutte le stanze, su tutti i davanzali delle finestre, su ogni sedia inutilizzata e piano lasciato libero! In ogni vasetto svariate piante stavano crescendo …e anche diventando un po’ troppo invadente!! Finalmente il sole ci ha permesso di metterle tutte fuori e riconquistare lo spazio in casa.

We dedicated the days following our London tour to do some gardening! You cannot even imagine how many little pots Stefan was able to fit everywhere in the house!! I found them in every room, on every window cill, on every unused chair or free worktop! In each of the pots, various plants were growing …and even becoming a bit too invasive!! Finally the sun gave us the possibility to put them all outside and get the space indoor back again.

Ho dovuto scavare e piantare 12 piante di “Bella di Notte” nel giardino di fronte (dalla porta di ingresso). Tutti i semi sono germinati e mi dispiaceva fare una selezione! …fortunatamente avremo un bellissimo giardino d’ingresso super colorato!

I had to dig and plant 12 plants of “Four o’ clock” in the front garden. All the seeds that we planted germinated and I didn’t want to make a selection! …luckily we will have a beautiful and super colourful front garden!

Sotto: abbiamo tirato fuori dal garage (dove la mettiamo per l’inverno) la pianta di banano, che sta gia’ iniziando a mettere le foglie nuove. …credo che quest’anno non la metteremo di nuovo in garage alla fine dell’estate. Abbiamo faticato un sacco a farla passare dalla porta del garage!! Sicuramente tra quattro mesi sara’ moltooo piu’ grande e pesante!

Below: we took out of the garage (where we overwinter it) the Banana plant, that is already growing some new leaves. …I don’t think this year we will move it back to the garage at the end of the summer. We struggled a lot to make it passing through the garage door!! Surely in four months time it will be much bigger and heavier!

L’esperimento di Stefan con le forchette di plastica per vedere di tenere alla larga i gatti dei vicini, che vogliono usare il nostro “orto” come gabinetto!! ;-P

Stefan’s experiment with plastic forks to see if we can keep the neighbourhood cats away from our vegetable garden. They would like to use it as toilet!! ;-P

Abbiamo fissato una nuova casetta per gli uccellini al muro del garage. …e oggi un paio di passerotti sono andati ad ispezionare entrambe!! Speriamo tanto che decidano di traslocare vicino a noi! Ci piacerebbe averli come vicini di casa!!

We fixed a new bird box on the garage wall. …and today we had a couple of sparrows inspecting them both! We really hope they will decide to move here! We would like to have them as new neighbours!!

Sotto: la pianta di mirtillo ce ne regalera’ molti piu’ frutti quest’anno!!

Above: Bluebells are popping out in our garden!!

Below: the Blueberry plant is going to give us a lot more fruits this year!!

E infine: rosmarino, salvia …e ci sono anche origano e timo che non vedete nella foto!! Li usiamo spesso per profumare il nostro cibo.

And finally: rosmary, sage …and there are also origano and thyme, that you cannot see in the picture! We always use them to flavour our food.

Il prossimo fine settimana partiamo di nuovo!! Staremo un paio di giorni in Germania (per la Cresima di uno dei nipoti di Stefan) e poi ce ne andremo qualche giorno in Austria a trovare alcuni dei miei amici! …non vedo l’ora!!

This following weekend we are going to leave again!! We will stay a couple of days in Germany (for the Confirmation of one of Stefan’s nephews) and we will then go to Austria for a few days, to visit some of my friends! …I am looking forward to it!!

BANK HOLIDAY IN LONDON

Lo scorso lunedi’era un Bank Holiday, ossia il lunedi’ era giorno festivo qua in Inghilterra, quindi abbiamo avuto un lungo fine settimana! Miracolosamente la pioggia e il brutto tempo ci hanno graziati e abbiamo avuto tre giorni meravigliosi, con sole e quasi 30 gradi Centigradi!!

Last Monday it was a Bank Holiday, that means it was a festive day here in England, so we had a long weekend! Miraculously rain and bad weather spared us and we had three wonderful days, full of sun and with temperatures close to 30 degrees Centigrades!!

Si riconoscono subito gli stranieri quando la temperatura si alza, perche’ sono gli unici a non indossare ciabatte infradito, pantaloncini corti, e a sbuffare per il caldo!! …brontolo sempre i miei colleghi se si lamentano quando sono 25 gradi!!! Io amo il caldo!!! 🙂 E mi manca sempre tanto!

You can tell which are the foreigners when the temperature raises, because they are the only one not wearing flip flops, shorts, or grumble for the hot temperature!! …I always tell my colleagues off if they start complaining when there are 25 degrees Centigrades!! I love hot weather!!! 🙂 And I really miss it!

Io e Stefan abbiamo fatto una bella gita a Londra. Non avevo ancora visitato le barriere sul fiume Tamigi e Greenwich!

Stefan and I had a fantastic tour in London. I still had not visited the Thames barriers and Greenwich!

Mi e’ piaciuto tutto!! Lo consiglio a tutti!! Sono facili da raggiungere con la metropolitana e molto interessanti! Greenwich e’ collocato su due colline, da cui si puo’ ammirare una bellissima vista di Londra.

I liked everything!! I really suggest you to go!! They are easy to reach by Tube and very interesting! Greenwich is situated on two hills, from which you can admire a beautiful sight of London.

…e vedere il famoso Meridiano, che attraversa la Terra dal Polo Nord al Polo Sud.

…and you can see the famous Meridian that crosses the Earth from the North Pole to the South Pole.

Da Greenwich abbiamo deciso di attraversare il fiume …dal di sotto! C’e’ infatti un tunnel sottorraneo (solo per i pedoni) che con solo circa 100 gradini ti porta in un mondo sottorraneo e ti permette di raggiungere l’altra sponda in pochissimo tempo.

From Greenwich we decided to cross the river …from underneath! There is a underground tunnel (only for pedestrian) that with only about 100 steps takes you in an underground world and allows you to reach the other side of the river in just a few minutes.

…e siamo arrivati alla “Island Garden” sull’ “Isle of Dogs” …un posto magico che non mi sarei mai aspettata di trovare a Londra!! Animali di tutti i tipi, verde, boschetti, parchi, ….siamo sicuri di essere ancora a Londra?

…and we then arrived at “Island Garden” on “Isle of Dogs” …a magical place that I would have never dreamt to find in London! All kind of animals, green, woods, parks, …are we sure we are still in London?

Abbiamo camminato e siamo finiti ai docks. Anche questo un posto molto bello e suggestivo. …e poi il sole fa sempre tutto piu’ bello!!!

We walked and ended in the docks area. This is another beautiful and suggestive place …and the sun always helps to make things looks much prettier!!!
